Well, sort of. Let me explain.
In order to be able to change states between flaccid and erect for the Bionic, we will need to find a more efficient system than just a straight forward, balloon-like bladder. A balloon requires a lot of volume and energy to fill, so instead, we are looking at a more capillary-like, folding structure, influenced by the ancient art of origami. I can’t give too much away, but these videos, though by no means a direct illustration, will give you a little bit of a teaser as to the lines of thinking…
…and they’re also just incredibly satisfying to watch!

Now that is some neat stuff! Quite futuristic compared to the old idea!
This is amazing but will it not take years before it can be used
Hoping for late 2018 but that does depend on a lot of factors.
Definitivamente marcarÃas una diferencia en la vida de todos los chicos trans, espero que puedas lograr este proyecto con éxito. SerÃa una gran invención!
Nuestra vida serÃa como un antes u un después! Felicidades por tu labor impecable!
Translation: You would definitely make a difference in the lives of all the trans boys, I hope you can achieve this project successfully. It would be a great invention!
Our life would be like a before and after! Congratulations on your impeccable work!
Please please please consider making an uncut version. I couldn’t care less if the skin doesn’t retract. Here in the uk we don’t really have cut penises and I just can not connect with one without foreskin.
Yes, you’ll be happy to know this one will be uncut in its flaccid state so that the foreskin can retract when it’s erect, just like it often tends to do with a biological human penis.
How much should we expect this to cost? How big is the color selection?
Hard to say at this point, but it’s probably safe to say it will be over $1000. Coloring will most likely be customized.
Really looking forward to be able to purchase a finished product. Saving as we speak…
Will it be able to get hard on it’s own still? Can we go swimming with it? Like, I think that’s awesome that you aren’t afraid to pursue new projects, your company has given me hope for my future, thanks for answering these questions!
No and yes :)
Are you guys going the route of the touch sensitive idea? I’d love to be able to touch and feel everything, would relieve my dsyphoria completely, is it going to function as closely as a natal male?
I was wondering in a estimation how long the product might be and the girth. I also understand different people have different size preferences so I really hope that there are size options because I’m going to use the play feature pretty heavily and I usually go above the average cis male size. The bono size was perfect for me. Also it would be nice to know the size when flaccid as well. Btw thanks Alex! You’re doing great things for the community
We’re not sure about dimensions yet, and this will to a large extent be dictated by the mechanics. The aim is for it to be the size of an average human penis both flaccid and erect.
I have a question, so will this be like waterproof? And um how durable do you think it will be? Will it be able to withstand..um “rough play”? – a curious girlfriend
Yes it needs to be waterproof to at least a few meters (though don’t take it deep sea scuba diving) and durable.
This is I nice idea but I think prefer the other one as it won’t be able to get hard on its own. Btw great work Alex
Im so excited.. I hope it will be release on january 2018z.. Hahahayyyy
On the idea of the subdermal magnets, how do you keep your crotch from attaching to metal things, like if you leaned up against a metal desk, and would you just never be able to go through airport security again without being strip searched? Neither of which would prevent me from getting them, but I am curious about the logistics of it.
These are things I’m seeking clarification on from Cochlear, but essentially I don’t expect the implants to show on a scanner in the same way that change in your pockets or genital piercings (or any other piercings for that matter) won’t set it off, but as we go further down the track, I’ll most definitely have definitive answers on this :)
I have small magnetic subdermal implants in my hand, silicone in my other hand, and two surgical steel ones in my genitals (I’m a body mod enthusiast, haha) and I’ve never had any trouble with any of them. The magnets are quite small and very thin, it’s kind of more like a magnetic screwdriver tip, nothing near strong enough to cause a problem with being near metal objects (car, desks, fridge, door handles, etc). The implants would need to be small, but multiple; each one having not an extremely strong field but becoming quite strong in total when all magnets are being used together to hold up the prosthetic. The barrier of your clothing would stop unwanted magnetic attraction too (you don’t want keys flying off tables and zooming to your crotch all the time I’m sure! Haha), and a lot of metals don’t respond to magnets unless they’re very strong, and many will not be attracted to a magnetic field at all. I am less concerned about the potential of unwanted magnetism, rather, I am wondering about the specifications of the material to be used/magnetized. Something that would set off metal detectors or pose a threat during certain medical processes like x-rays, CT scans, or MRIs would be sadly unacceptable.
BTW – I found out about this project today on my birthday! I’m taking that as a sign that I need to get one of these immediately when they become available, hahaha. Incredible work, thank you.
So someone asked about it being touch sensitive. I was wondering the same. Will it still be touch sensitive?
That’s the idea. We’re looking at a combination of input sensors, one being a touch sensitive shaft, another the squeeze activated controller and possibly also something similar to a fitness tracker watch that can register a range of input signals.
