FINALLY!! After almost two months of beating my head against a brick wall, my original YouTube channel is back!

So I thought I’d do a little video on lessons learned and thoughts on the whole process which you can find on my original channel here. For now, I will also be keeping the new channel as I can see this being an ongoing problem in light of the state that YouTube is currently in. I’d encourage you to subscribe to both channels so that if one goes down, I still have a YouTube communication avenue with you. I did have way too much pun with luDICKrous wavings of phallic vegetables on the new channel, so I’ll definitely be keeping it up.

Then I want to give a big shout out to YT Contributors @Contributors_YT on Twitter who finally got my channel re-instated. Thank you also to Chase Ross for putting me on to them and for causing a ruckus across a LOT of media about so many of our channels getting strikes of late. See #YouCantDeleteUs on what he’s been up to with his friend Aaron Ansuini who is also responsible for the artwork on this blog post.

As a result of all of this, Transthetics now also has a Twitter account with handle @transthetics. But to make sure you’re definitely being kept in the loop on all Transthetics news, make sure you’re subscribed to the email list here.  This is the ONLY completely anonymous way  you can be subscribed and it’s also the only list that cannot have the plug pulled on it by a social media platform.

As we all know, social media is a double edged sword. Personally, I do feel that especially for the Trans community, there is way more good than bad and YouTube has certainly done an awful lot for us in terms of bringing us together and giving us a voice. It just seems like right now, it’s really struggling with having grown too big too fast. I’m hopeful that they WILL correct course. It’s certainly no easy feat and hence I’m prepared to cut them a bit of slack but I’m really hoping they start heading in the right direction again soon…
